Tim
Taxis started in the construction business as a
student working summers with his father in the
commercial drywall trade. He enjoyed the work and
realized the construction business would be his chosen
vocation. In 1981 he served his drywall apprenticeship
with the Cesaroni Brothers where in 1984, at the age
of 19, he was promoted to foreman overseeing
large budget projects, a position he held for 3 years.
Using his initiative and drive Tim decided to strike
out on his own and start his own company in 1987,
thus Taxis Contracting Ltd. was born. For the next
three years, Tim employed several drywall journeymen.
Due to the recession and shortage of work in 1990,
Tim realized he had to revamp his company.
By working long hours gaining experience and knowledge
through on hands training, Tim converted his drywall
company into a general contracting company serving
residential and commercial clientele. He has subsequently
built the company one job at a time. The business has
expanded constantly and staff has been hired to meet
the growing demand. Tim's objective is to provide
informative and friendly client service and he strives
continually for quality in his workmanship.
